Designated SENDCo Lead Details

We believe every child has the right to be challenged, to be successful and to achieve to their full potential. Inclusion runs through the heart of our learning & teaching, to ensure that every pupil receives quality first teaching. We are developing out Inclusion provision to ensure that those pupils with additional needs have access to resources, guidance and support that enhances and enriches the quality first teaching. Within our school, our wider provision and support can be accessed through the following:

 

  • SEND support

  • Specialist Speech & Language support x 1

  • Specialist Visually Impaired support x 1

  • Learning Support Assistants

  • Extended School Activities

  • Support for Pupils with English as an Additional Language from the Inclusion Manager

Pupils who have significant Additional Needs which create barriers to their learning have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). This is reviewed yearly and contributions from families, pupils and staff are included.

 

If you would like to discuss additional needs you feel your child is presenting, then please speak to their class teacher or make an appointment to see Mrs J Sidhu, the SENDCo or Mrs M Aziz the Inclusion Manager.
