R.S.E. (Relationship Sex Education)

As a part of your child’s education at Roe Green Infant/Strathcona School, we promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education programme. PSHE education is the curriculum subject that gives children the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live safe, healthy, productive lives and meet their full potential.

We are required to teach Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) as part of our PSHE curriculum.  High quality RSE help create a safe school community in which our pupils can grow, learn and develop positive, healthy behaviour for life.

We are currently undergoing parent consultations in which you are able to view online resources that explain the curriculum changes. Please watch the video and have a look at the documents below to find out more information.
